Information the extension can process

On a recognized purchase-order page in an authenticated Shopify Admin session, the extension can read the purchase-order information already visible to you. Depending on the page, this can include a purchase-order number, vendor, destination, dates, status, product or variant names, SKU, barcode, quantities, costs, currency, and totals.

The extension uses this information to validate the page structure and create CSV, XLSX, TSV, or Markdown output at your direction. It does not obtain your Shopify password, authentication tokens, payment credentials, or customer browsing history.

How processing works

• Processing occurs locally in the browser; the publisher does not operate a server for the extension.
• No merchant data is transmitted to Aguna, sold, shared, used for advertising, or used to build a profile.
• The extension has no analytics, telemetry, advertising, account, licensing, crash-reporting, or payment service.
• The extension does not save merchant data in extension storage. Downloads and clipboard output remain under your control.

Site access and diagnostics

The packaged extension uses a content script restricted to Shopify Admin origins so it can recognize supported purchase-order routes. It does not add broad all-sites access, a background service, or developer-controlled network communication.

A diagnostic report contains extension and adapter versions, recognition state, structural reason codes, and counts. It is designed to exclude the store slug, page URL, purchase-order number, vendor, product text, raw headers, page markup, and stack traces.

Retention and deletion

Aguna does not receive or retain the purchase-order information processed by the extension. You can delete downloaded files through your device and replace clipboard contents through your operating system or another application.

Compatibility and independence

This is independent software and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Shopify. Automated logic and synthetic fixtures have been tested, but behavior on a current live merchant account remains UNVERIFIED AGAINST LIVE SITE until that exact release is tested there. If recognition is not sufficiently confident, the extension is designed to produce no export.

Changes to this policy

If a future version changes data access or processing, this policy will be updated before that version is published. The effective date above identifies this version of the policy.
