Information the extension can process

The selected Square report files can contain transaction and payment identifiers, dates, customer or item names, employee or location fields, quantities, modifiers, discounts, taxes, tips, refunds, and other monetary values. The extension reads only files you explicitly select.

It uses exact identifiers and conservative validation rules to join records, quarantine ambiguous groups, and create a local workbook and diagnostic report. The UNMATCHED worksheet can contain complete source records that could not be safely reconciled.

How processing works

• Parsing, validation, reconciliation, and export occur locally in the extension.
• The extension has zero Chrome permissions, host access, content scripts, background services, network requests, or persistent storage.
• No selected file contents are transmitted to Aguna, collected, sold, shared, or used for advertising or analytics.
• Generated XLSX files and clipboard diagnostics remain on your device and under your control.

Diagnostics

Diagnostics contain extension and adapter versions, status, aggregate counts, and privacy-safe reason codes. They are designed to exclude filenames, transaction and payment identifiers, customer and item names, and raw source rows.

Retention and deletion

The extension does not retain the selected reports after the page is closed or refreshed, and Aguna does not receive them. Delete downloaded output using your device, and replace clipboard contents using your operating system or another application.

Accuracy and independence

This is independent software and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Square or Block, Inc. Review generated files against your source reports before relying on them for accounting, tax, inventory, or other consequential decisions. Authentic current exports remain UNVERIFIED AGAINST LIVE SITE until tested with the exact release.

Changes to this policy

If a future version changes data access or processing, this policy will be updated before that version is published. The effective date above identifies this version of the policy.
